ADULT NIGHT MEN – SPRING

Men’s League is made up of levels 3.0 – 4.5. The format is 2 singles courts and 3 doubles. It is played on weeknights in the spring.

ADULT NIGHT WOMEN – SPRING

Women’s League is made up of levels 2.5 – 4.5. The format is 2 singles courts and 3 doubles. It is played on weeknights in the Spring. Daytime leagues are also being played for some levels. Check TennisLink for details.

MIXED DOUBLES LEAGUE

Mixed doubles is an all doubles format of combined skills levels, but each doubles team is made up of one man and one woman. The combined skill levels of the doubles team cannot exceed the level at which they play, and the partners cannot be more than 1.0 point apart in rating. The levels are 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, and 9.0. The format is 3 doubles courts and is played on weeknights in the Summer.

COMBO LEAGUE

This league is made up of 3 doubles courts with a combination of ratings. The combined ratings of each court cannot exceed the level at which they play. The ratings of each player need not “touch” on another. The levels are 5.5, 6.5, 7.5, 8.5 and 9.5. The format is 3 doubles courts and is played on weeknights in the fall.

USTA Southern Louisiana Tri-Level League

Play doubles with your friends while on a team consisting of 3 NTRP levels!

The USTA Southern Tri-Level League is designed to be adaptive to the individual needs of each city. Many different playing levels are offered through the Tri-Level League. Players compete in a local league for the right to advance to the Louisiana Tri-Level State Championships.

General Overview

  • Team matches consist of three individual matches, each at a different NTRP level.
  • Any format may be used: 2 out of 3 sets, 8 game pro-set, No-ad scoring, etc.
  • Leagues are required to play a minimum of three matches.
  • Players will have to play a minimum of one match to qualify for the State Tournament (One match can be a default.)
  • Players may play at their NTRP rated level or one level higher.
  • Participation does not affect player’s NTRP rating.

Guidelines

  • Play occurs with three matches, each at a different NTRP level.
  • Doubles partners are same-level.
  • Minimum age is 18 years old.
  • NTRP based – Valid computer or self rating required.
  • USTA membership required.
  • Register and report results through Tennis link.
  • All league matches need to be completed two weeks before the Louisiana State Championships.
